Spring has sprung!

This week has been House Charity week and I have been overwhelmed with the ingenuity and enterprise which has been shown by our students.   At the time of writing my blog I understand we have raised in the region of £600.  Our four houses worked tremendously hard.  At lunchtime today (Friday) our kind hearted and public spirited students will be combining their efforts, in the form of a bake sale,  to raise money for Cure Leukaemia, a cause close to the school’s heart.

Our Year 9 and 10 students have received their PHSE this week on relationships and we have worked in close liaison with the Police, who came into school to give some very informative talks.

I have had the pleasure of meeting Destiny B, Ariet A, Zarah A and Roberta A for excellent attendance, Sophie S for public speaking and Mille J for amazing reading and they have all been entered into the golden book.

Finally, I wish you a pleasant weekend and don’t forget to change your clocks on Sunday!
