Merry Christmas!

Their efforts have been outstanding.  This is reflected in all the merits and braids that are being issued this week.  I am always so proud of all our students and it is rewarding to see the fruits of their labours.

Each morning this week I have been into the celebration assemblies which are always uplifting, particularly on such grey miserable days, as we have had recently.  It is lovely that students are rewarded for all areas of their school life, not purely academic, helping them grow into well-rounded young adults.

We wish a fond farewell to our student teachers, Miss Khalid, Mr Hunter, Miss Mahmood and Miss Haroon who are continuing their training journey in other schools.  We also bid a fond farewell to Mr Soni who is leaving us for promotion further afield, and Mrs Smith who is pursuing a more specialised role in learning support.  We thank them for them all their hard work and wish them all the very best for the future.   In January we are pleased to welcome Mrs Passley and Miss Shabir to our school family.

We are looking forward to the New Year and wish you a restful and enjoyable break.   – see you all 8th January 2019!
