Bear-ly still there…
Extinction. It is real.
Global warming is driving many species of animals including Polar Bears towards extinction. As well as their environment disappearing humans hunt them for fur and other parts of their bodies- legally.
I can’t believe this is allowed even though they are on the endangered list.
AM I THE ONLY ONE WHO THINKS THAT THIS IS WRONG? I SHOULDN’T BE.
Do we really want beautiful animals dying out because of man’s actions? Just imagine, no more Polar Bears and all because of our actions?
There is an estimate that only around 20,000 polar bears are still alive- this might sound like a lot but by the end of this century they will be GONE. Do you want your children and their children growing up in a world where such beautiful animals only exist in books or older people’s memories? They are the dinosaurs of the future.
What can we do? I mean you!
- Use less electricity
- Use more renewable power
- Stop hunting them for their fur
- Respect the environment and all creatures
- Contribute to a charity that tries to save these animals
You can adopt a polar bear at the WWF website for as little as £5. That doesn’t buy you much in your favourite coffee shop these days but it could help save the life of a Polar Bear.
