NEW! Light Hall Sixth Form is so excited to open it’s doors for the first time this September. Our Sixth Form offers a diverse range of opportunities; from sports teams, through volunteering, mentoring, student leadership and work experience, all of which will enable you to contribute actively to society and be curious, ambitious and courageous in your futures.
Our Sixth Form is a testament to our commitment to providing the best possible education and support for our students and this guide will give you just a taste of what being a Light Hall student will be.

Our Facilities
All of our Sixth Form students will have access to our brilliant facilities, including our science, design, computer and food tech labs with technologies and equipment that will elevate their studies and able them to apply their learning.
Importantly, our Sixth Form students will have their own spaces to study independently, work on group projects, attend talks and workshops and have social time with their peers in our Sixth Form Centre.
Our brand new Sixth Form Centre opens for students in September 2024. Accomodating up to 200 students across Years 12 and 13, it hosts a focused study area, two group study rooms, a main working area and common area, it’s own cafe and vending machine, personal lockers, laptops, a resources area full of brochures, posters and promotional materials for universities, apprenticeships, enrichment opportunities and much more.
