Light Hall School held its Inspire to Achieve day on Friday 8th January – The purpose of the day was to help pupils have a greater understanding of the world of work and the skills and qualities needed in the workplace today.
National Grid supported us with a truly inspirational day for all of our Year 8 students who were able to spend the whole day with business ambassadors from a wide range of employers, including: Freetis, Real Estate, Enzon and BITC.
There were lots of fun, interactive activities which culminated in a Dragons Den style presentation at the end of the day. Each of the form winners presented their ideas to the whole year group and the panel of judges, with the winners being awarded gift cards and chocolates.
