Year 11 are being stoic in their final weeks of exams. Again, I can only commend them on their effort and behaviour. Similarly, Year 10 are holding their own in assessment week with a very mature attitude. Year 7 are commencing their assessments next week.
We are very busy planning for the next academic year with Mrs White visiting local primary schools to meet our year 6 students and we look forward to welcoming them into our Light Hall family in September.
The theme for assemblies this week has been the Environment to celebrate world environment day on 5th June. 8EAMK led a very informative assembly on Tuesday morning, giving us all food for thought.
Finally, a huge thank you to the students, staff, parents and governors involved in the catering contract tender process this week. The Governors make their final decision next week. Our student food focus group were praised by all our visitors for their mature and sensible approach.
